Gerakan Headquarter will hold a Chinese New Year Open House on 23 January (Monday) the first day of Chinese New Year from 10am till 1pm at Dewan Wawasan, Level 4, Menara PGRM, Tower 1, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Gerakan is welcoming the public’s attendance to celebrate Chinese New Year together with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Gerakan President Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon as well as other dignitaries to welcome the year of Dragon and together to celebrate the arrival of a new year. Gerakan Chinese New Year Open House Organising Committee Chairman Lim Si Pin said that Gerakan Chinese New Year Open House is an annual event of the party. Gerakan is welcoming the attendance of all leaders from NGO and Barisan Nasional component parties as well as general public of all races to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. Lim Si Pin who is also the Gerakan Youth Chief said that Gerakan will be giving out angpows to orphans and there will also be dragon dance and lion dance to give live to the Chinese New Year atmosphere.
