Gerakan Batu Division received a complaint from residents of the PPR Bandar Baru Sentul Flat 81 on 6 February whom reported that the flat is facing water tank leakage problem. Although the residents of the flat had informed the DBKL a week ago about the leakage problem, the city council had not taken any action to repair it.

Gerakan Youth Secretary General Dr. Dominic Lau who went to the site for an inspection on that day said that Gerakan Batu Division with its members contacted the DBKL immediately to ask them to come forward for an inspection on the water tank of the flat as soon as Gerakan received the complaint by the residents.

“After coordinating with them, the DBKL agreed to send its officers to repair the water tank on the next day at 7 February. I would like to stress that the DBKL should not ignore the complaints from the people, they need to consider how much inconvenience that will bring to the people in the delay of action,” said Dominic Lau.

Besides, Dominic Lau also added that Gerakan Batu Division will continue to serve in the Batu constituency, extending help and addressing the livelihood problems.
